New! Wanda the Whale

Wanda the Whale

Wanda is the queen of the sea. She is the beautiful sister of Wally.

Her eyes are a beautiful pink shimmer. They are safety eyes for the littles.

She is filled with a silk/poly blend of stuffing, that is safer for the littles.

She is shown here in variegated blue but she can be custom ordered in any color you would like.
She is crocheted in back loop only so it looks like she has scales.
She is nice and big. Measuring 6.5" by 16".
To custom order your whale today, click the buy now button above, then you can select the color and quantity.

Dempsi the Doggie

Dempsi the Doggie

I am pleased to introduce Dempsi.
He loves long walks, playing fetch and dinner time.

Dempsi sits 8.5 inches tall. He has really long floppy ears and really big brown eyes.
His eyes are safety eyes, they have screw backs and will not come off.
His stuffing is made with a silk blend, to make it more child friendly.

You can have you very own doggie without the mess.

All proceeds will go to our rescued animal friends.
Thank you for viewing our blog.

Good News!!

Good News!

My husband and I met with Dee, the new owner of a shop opening in Schoen Place in Pittsford. The store will be called CREATIONS Gifts and Treasures. It is located by the Label 7 and the Olives restaurants. See the white porch in the back part of the picture? That is where the store will be.

It will have all handmade items from members of Rochester Artisans. I am happy to announce that I am one of those artists, and the store will be carrying my creations.

I hope that once it opens, all take a ride and go visit.

I will be sharing, later today, a little creature I made.
Please check back later this evening.

Have a wonderful day!

Too Many

Too Many Projects

Ever start too many things and then feel overwhelmed?
That is me pretty much all the time, at least when it comes to crafts.
I get three to four projects started and have a good head start on all of them, then it seems I fall flat on my face. Ha!

Last week I fully intended to post the lamb/sheep I was making, but I got caught up making Elliott (if you haven't checked him out, you should). And then I immediately started a new little for a patient at the chiropractor's office I work for. She just had a baby girl and I wanted to make something for her.

Being as it's Tuesday, I am sure that I will get the little I am currently working on done this week, and if all works out well I would like to be able to finish the sheep/lamb before I start my next fun monster for my mother in law. (Wait until you see that!)

With all that being said, as if you really care about all that, my goal this month is to really have two finished littles to post for you.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Make sure to stop and count your blessings today, even if it's only for a brief moment. Life is precious and too short.

Many hugs!

Elliott the Elephant

Elliott the Elephant

Elliott is a beautiful gray elephant, she has rosy cheeks and long black eyelashes.
Did you know elephants are herbivorous? That means they don't eat meat.

Do you know why elephants ears are so big?
Elephants' large ear flaps help to control their body temperature.

Elephants are such beautiful mammals.
Elephants are threatened everyday for ivory. People also threaten there habitats by destroying them.

But now you can have your very own little elephant.
Elliott sits approx. 10 inches tall.

Dax the Dragon

Dax the Dragon

Dax is a handsome fellow. He is a legendary creature with serpentine traits, that is featured in myths of many cultures.

Dax is a lovely teal with golden nails, eye socket and golden spikes.

He sits about 6.5 inches tall.

Dragons are existed, no one really knows if they existed or not.
But you can have one of your very own.

I hope you like my little friend.
Have a wonderful day!

New Friend Coming Soon...

New Friend Coming Soon...

Even with this weekend being so nice out, I still got to work on some new friends.

I have two new little friends to share with you this week.

One is a dragon and he is amazing!
So cute and it makes you just want to hug him to pieces.

Then I have a lamb.
Not at all similar to the one I have made previously.
I have a couple finishing touches that I need to add to him before I can set him up for his photo shoot and share him with you.

So please stop back a couple times this week, so that I may share these new creations with you.

Thank you and have an amazing day!
